April 11, 2016 - Aquiline Capital Partners LLC recently announced the final closing of Aquiline Financial Services Fund III L.P. The fund closed with limited partner commitments of over $1.1 billion, which exceeded an original target of $1 billion.
Fund III will continue Aquiline's successful strategy of investing in middle-market businesses across the financial services sector, including banking and credit, insurance, investment management and markets, and financial technology and services businesses.
Limited partner commitments were secured from a diversified group of institutional investors from North America and Europe. Among these institutions are leading foundations, public and private pension funds, financial institutions, advisors, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds.
Stanwich Advisors, LLC acted as lead placement agent for Fund III.
