February 14, 2017 - Southern Cross Group recently announced the final closing of Southern Cross Latin America Private Equity Fund V, L.P. and its Mexican parallel investment fund ("Fund V"). Fund V closed with capital commitments of over $687 million.
Fund V will continue Southern Cross Group's successful investment strategy of making value-oriented investments in Latin American companies that have significant potential for improved performance and growth.
Commitments were secured from a diversified group of institutional investors from North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Among these institutions are leading sovereign wealth funds, public pension funds, endowments, insurance companies, foundations, development institutions, family offices and fund of funds.
